High Park Soap

High Park : Body + Face Soap is a handcrafted soap bar inspired by Toronto's largest public park well-known for its wild forest, beautiful gardens, large ponds, a charming zoo, and gorgeous cherry blossoms in spring. We wanted to create a soap that reminds of the fresh morning air of walking in the park with tall evergreen forest. The earthiness comes from a craft beer from High Park Brewery. Reminiscent of the slightly bitter scent of beer is accompanied with essential oils of citrusy bergamot and litsea cubeba, and sweet woodsy fir and ho wood.

Beer is naturally rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. With added nutrient-rich spirulina to add some deep green colour as well as light green and charcoal confetti for a beautiful unique look. Enriched with skin-restoring rice bran oil, nourishing shea butter and cocoa butter, this soap is suitable for face and body of all skin types.

Made locally, all of Skipping Stone soaps are cold processed and handcrafted in small batches to ensure their maximum benefits for your skin. Each bar is hand-poured, hand-cut and no two are alike. Just like marble stone, marbled soaps vary in appearance and each item is unique. They are minimally wrapped in a recycled paper label.

Handcrafted soaps are high in glycerin. Glycerin attracts water (hence its moisturizing effect) therefore our soaps should not be left sitting in water, as it will cause them to melt. To extend the life of your soap, please use a well-draining soap dish to ensure your soap dries completely after each use.
