Spring has sprung at Scout!

Posted on

I’ve been neglecting the blog again.. all this social networking is tiring :)   Lots of new things have arrived in the last couple weeks so felt it was due time for an update!

Erin Templeton!  Who doesn’t love your soft recycled leather goods.

Along with the small leather goods I had last season (coin purses & makeup bags), I also ordered her TGIF & BYOB bags for Spring!  Loving the bright colours. The BYOB style even comes with a secret pocket for your tall can.  I think I hear the park calling!

Zippan Designs is back on the shelves!  She has expanded her line and now has these adorable critters available.  Still handcrafted in sterling silver and made in Toronto!  Lots of other designs available too for the less animal-y people. Feathers, stars, keys and the favourite anatomical heart.

Imm-Living hits the mark with these fabulous antler mugs.  Designed in Toronto with an obvious Canadian feel.  Is it a deer or a moose kind of a morning?

Smitten Kitten has introduced these kitschy Canadiana journals this spring! Printed in Canada on 100% recycled paper.

How sweet are these little barrel vases?! Made in Toronto by ceramic artist RCBoisjoli, a perfect housewarming gift.

New card line!! Flaming banjos and a Hoppy Birthday card from Two Guitars in Portland, Oregon.

Handmade picture frames from Mmim in New York!

New Rolls of wrapping paper from Waste Not Paper!  The name says it all. Their paper comes from mills that practice responsible, sustainable forestry. Waste Not also uses renewable energy sources, such as hydro power or wind power.

More adorable boxes made from found birch and cedar.  Made in London, ON.  This is my favourite of the bunch.

Another new jewellery line I’ve brought in for Spring! Mijuandyou is laser cut and etched jewellery made in Montreal.  All necklaces come on a 30″-32″ chain.

If you haven’t had a chance to come by and check out my windows, please do!  My friends Jacqui Gardner and Craig Hopgood blew me away (again) with their “In Like a Lion, Out Like a Lamb” installation.

HAPPY SPRING!
