Queeriosity is a social card game created by two friends from Toronto as a means of facilitating opportunities for deeper connection with other queer folx. After identifying a lack of LGBTQ+ specific representation in existing party games, the folx behind Queeriosity decided to create a game that was inclusive to the community at large. No experience is the same, and they really wanted to tap into the exchange of those experiences amongst players. If you walk away from this game having learned something new about your friends, the community or yourself, they consider it a success.
The rules are simple. Shuffle your deck. Everyone takes a turn drawing a card and reading it out loud. There are 6 possible categories that can be drawn with different prompts:

Likeliness: The group determines who they think would be the most likely to match the prompt on the card. If you’re selected , you drink.

Quiz: The person who draws the card selects who will answer the question or compete in the challenge on the card. If they get it wrong or lose, they drink. If they get it right or win, you drink.

Honesty: The person who draws the card selects who of the group they’d like to ask the question to. Tell the story, speak your truth!

Discussion: The card is meant to prompt the whole group to engage in a conversation about the topic. Consider this a challenge relief card, and drink at your own pace throughout.

Partake: The person who draws the card asks the whole group to “Drink if ____”. If you fit the bill, take a sip.

This/That: Each member of the group votes on which scenario from the card they would rather do. If you are on the side with the lowest amount of votes, you drink.
