Gold Fill - Gold filled has a minimum industry standard of how much gold has to be used for it to be called gold filled. Gold filled consists of a base metal bonded with a layer of gold over top. Gold fill has almost 100 x more gold than gold plated. It is much more durable and won’t chip or fade over time.

Here are a few tips:

1 - Apply lotion, hairspray, perfume and makeup before putting on your gold-plated pieces.

2- Use a cotton pad, or microfibre cloth to clean your piece after each wear. This will prevent build up that is hard to remove.

3 - Remove your jewellery when exercising, swimming or showering. Sweat and salts will damage the plating.

4 - Store your pieces separately from each other to prevent scratching.
