I’ve been unpacking more goodies all week!  Here’s a peek at what’s new on the shelves!

FAVOURITE designs from So Young Inc. so far.  I thought nothing could beet (pun alert) the artichoke but the new red beets and the black sheep in the larger cooler size are pretty damn awesome.  There are also new prints on the smaller lunch coolers, including a dinosaur and a deer as well as new lunchboxes (below)!

Come see how cute!

imm cupsSpring Imm Living is here! They have a new more affordable line within their line called Carousel.  These stacking mugs are from that line and they are already selling like hot cakes!

2spring1New Moonlight for Violet studs! I love how she’s always evolving and creating new things, like these polymer clay pyramid studs available in a variety of Spring colours!

2spring4

Xenia Taler is a Toronto ceramic artist and she’s come out with some amazing new pieces this year.  I know her from my time at Red Pegasus and love the new direction she’s taken with her work.  Tiles can be used as coasters or as wall hangings.  Lots of nature inspired pieces as well as  other fun designs.

2spring8

Izola has a line of stainless martini shakers, for the Mad Men in us all.  I’ve got two styles in stock, “Shake, Rattle & Roll” and the one shown above which shows “measures for the bar.”

2spring3

I’ve been carrying Hello Lucky cards since I opened and just now decided to try out their gorgeous letterpress prints.  They definitely fit in with the whimsical, animal motif in the shop.

2springNew Frug is here! Affordable, fun pieces, something for everyone! This is just a taste (I love their chunky pieces this season).  Also lots of delicate pieces and animal inspired jewellery.

fredrick princeKind of cheating since technically I didn’t get this in this week, but I haven’t had a good chance to praise Fredrick Prince.  To be honest, I’m surprised I still have this piece in the shop, it’s BEAUTIFUL! Perfect to throw on over your Spring layers. Lots of great chunky pieces mixed with semi precious stones from this designer.

2spring2Lots of new bags in the shop as well! Spring/Summer Isak and Inger has filled up the shelves. Her beautiful fabrics and well constructed accessories are always an exciting addition.

Filling the shelves back up!

Posted on

Well helloooo!! It has been a busy week so far!  My intern Caroline finished up last week so it’s back to working 6 days a week for me! I can’t complain though, I never thought I’d get days off in my first year open.. (Caroline I miss you already!!) I’ve also been getting loads of shipments in and there are much more expected! I kind of eased off a lot on Summer buying as I’d been told the neighborhood can get a bit quiet, but Fall is another story. Back to school, back to the everyday, back to filling up the shelves.   Here’s a peek at what’s new:

Cokluch!

I got my fall shipment of Cokluch bags in today! I couldn’t be happier! Made in Montreal these bags are versatile, functional and of course beautiful.  Adjustable straps, inner pockets, and fully lined!  Their really well made and I love their designs this season.

Frug!

Frug is another Canadian favourite in the shop.  Made in Ottawa they have two different lines with two different looks.  La Russe (pictured above) and La Pistole (pictured below).

Love them both, love it all (especially love all the geometric jewellery this season).  This is just a tiny taste of what I have in the shop from Frug.  Come in to see it all!

So Young Inc!

Toronto designer Catherine Choi of So Young Inc has come out with some awesome new styles for Fall. Pictured above are the new backpacks, they come with a detachable insulated lunch box!  The middle bag is the newest in the larger cooler bag design.  I’m a sucker for an artichoke.

Pictured above are her new backpacks,  just as good for adults as they are for kids.  Fully lined with a water resistant and wipe-able branch pattern fabric, and loads of pockets and compartments. It also comes with a collapsible insulated lunch bag.

J.R Watkins

I’ll admit the packaging is what first got me when I was shown J.R Watkins.  After finding out  this company is America’s original natural apothecary manufacturer (founded in 1868),  and that they use only the finest natural ingredients, I had to make room for them in the shop.

They’ve also got a 100% Natural, paraben free, phthalate free & dye free baby line that smells amazing (fresh shea & rice flower). Their price points are awesome too!

Old School Stationers, Greenwich Letterpress, Waste Not Paper & Rifle Paper Co.

New boxed cards and single cards from loads of my favourite card companies are in the shop.  Remember, if you ever come into the shop and don’t see a card you’re looking for, please ask! I’ve always got a few tucked away in the back.  I’ll be hanging a new card rack in the coming months so look forward to there being lots more to choose from!

Beautiful new sheets of wrapping paper from Rifle Paper Co. in the shop (perfect for those last summer weddings!)
