If you’ve been following Scout on twitter or facebook you may have come across some posts about Shopcastr. It’s basically an online collection of everything awesome local retailers have to offer in Toronto. At first it was just a place to spend hours drooling over unique, often handmade, clothes, jewellery, antiques and everything in between with the hopes of encouraging people to go out and explore new shops in new neighborhoods.
In the last couple of weeks Shopcastr has launched a new service. You now have the option to purchase said drool worthy goodies without leaving your house! It’s still in the early stages so not every retailer is up and running but Scout is, just look for the orange Buy Now button! You can now purchase items from Scout if you’re in the East end, the North end or up the street but don’t feel like changing out of your pj’s. Shipping is $5 and delivery is almost always received the next day. How’s that for convenience!
