October has come and gone and I’ve been too busy to update my blog, so here is one super amazing blog post explosion of all the awesome-ness that arrived last month!
I’ve brought in some women’s tees this time around from FluffyCo in San Francisco! Both prints are also available on canvas bags. New accessories as well including leather card holders!
Violet & Lark is a small batch company based out of Brooklyn, NY. Her soy candles burn for 5o hours and are available in a lovely selection of scents. Bath salts are handmade and bottled in a recycled glass apothecary jar topped with a cork stopper. Epsom Salt, also known as, magnesium sulfate is known for its exceptional purity and therapeutic value. It is perfect for soothing sore muscles, relaxing soaks, and calming foot baths. We are currently the only Toronto retailer of Violet & Lark!
New bags from Isak & Inger are here. The designer has actually collaborated with the designer of Augustine Leather Goods and they’re now working under the name eleven thirty shop. Check out their shop that just opened on College Street!
Another new to Toronto line is L’aromatica from San Francisco, CA. We’ve been searching for a wonderful natural handcrafted perfume for the shop and we’ve finally found it! L‘aromatica offers fragrances for men and women made in small batches using exquisite botanical ingredients. They do not use fragrance oils, fillers, preservatives or phthalates or test any of their products on animals.
New Leah Duncan tea towels and pillow covers are here. As usual her prints are wonderful to look at and make a lovely addition to any home. Handmade in Brooklyn, NY.
Jack & Marjorie is a company based out of Hamilton, ON. I was bugging Meghan, the designer, far before my store ever existed and was super excited when I got the email saying she was ready to take on another shop. I must admit, most of her line has flown out of here already but I’ve still got a couple of goodies, like this guy made from waxed cotton canvas. Lots of pockets inside, an adjustable strap and lined with a hemp/canvas. These bags are super well made. We’ll be getting more in later this season!
She also makes lovely bath soaks and salts perfect for anyone! We’re so happy to be the first Toronto retailer to have brought her line in! We’re sure you’ll be happy too.
Last but most definitely not least. I am excited to have the beautiful work of Sarah Burwash in the shop, an illustrator from Halifax, NS. I often find myself just staring into her prints and postcards. Truly lovely and a welcome addition to the shop.
We’ll be getting our Christmas goodies out on the floor in the next coming week, so stay tuned for all that is holiday!
